Cruise Wi-Fi: one device or a multi-device package?
The short answer
Count how many devices need internet at the same time, then read the package’s switching and sharing rules. Two people who only check messages occasionally have different needs from a family using several devices at once.

List the moments that matter: one person working while another makes a call, children streaming separately, or everyone sending messages after dinner. A phone, tablet and laptop owned by one person do not automatically create three simultaneous needs.
At the same time, a cheap single-device plan can be frustrating if two people need dependable access together. Ask whether the package permits switching devices and how it handles a new login before assuming sharing will work.
Compare the checkout totals
Use the price and terms shown for your reservation. Royal Caribbean publishes ship-network connection guidance, but a network login page is not a complete explanation of every package offer.
Compare one multi-device booking with separate packages using the same number of days and devices. Check whether an included benefit already covers one guest. Avoid multiplying a discount headline before you have seen the final amount.
Decide what can wait until port
Download films, books and large files before travel. If you only need an occasional message, planned land connections may suit you, provided you are comfortable being offline at sea. Someone who must respond to work cannot make the same assumption.
Internet availability and performance can vary. Do not schedule a critical meeting on the belief that a package guarantees a particular connection quality. Have a workable alternative for anything genuinely time-sensitive.
Set up each phone deliberately
Keep cellular settings separate from the internet-package decision. Norwegian’s app instructions recommend airplane mode with Wi-Fi enabled. Buying ship Wi-Fi does not change your mobile provider's roaming terms.
Agree who manages the package login and how devices switch, if switching is permitted. Test it early with the people who will use it. For Cruise.do, saved content can be read offline, while new AI answers require an internet connection.
