# Celebrity All Included vs cruise-only: compare the real cost

By Cruise.do · Updated October 17, 2026

The short answer

Celebrity All Included bundles selected drinks and Wi-Fi. It does not mean every holiday expense is paid. Compare the extra fare with the services your cabin would otherwise purchase.

## [What All Included actually means](#what-all-included-actually-means)

Celebrity’s [official All Included FAQ](#source-celebrity-included-2026) describes Classic drinks and Basic Wi-Fi for guests in the stateroom. Beverage-package gratuities are included, but onboard staff gratuities are separate. Do not use an older article’s description of the fare without checking your current booking.

The word “included” can hide a budgeting mistake: counting the same benefit twice. If your fare already contains a package, its full retail price is not an additional saving from buying an upgrade. Compare the cost and benefits that change between the two offers in front of you.

## [Compare the fare difference for everyone](#compare-the-fare-difference-for-everyone)

Obtain a cruise-only and an All Included quote for the same sailing, cabin and occupants. Check that the deposit, cancellation terms and other promotions are comparable. Otherwise, part of the difference may have nothing to do with drinks or internet.

For illustration, suppose the All Included quote costs $700 more for two people on a seven-night trip. That is $50 per person per night. This is an invented comparison figure, not a Celebrity price. Ask whether the included services replace $700 of spending you genuinely expect to make.

A person who wants regular connectivity and covered beverages may value the bundle differently from someone who plans long days ashore and little internet use. Discuss both travellers’ habits rather than multiplying the more enthusiastic person’s estimate by two.

## [Basic Wi-Fi and Classic drinks need a closer look](#basic-wi-fi-and-classic-drinks-need-a-closer-look)

Check the current service descriptions against what you want to do. If you need a particular internet capability or prefer drinks outside the covered selection, price the relevant upgrade before comparing totals. A bundle that still needs two upgrades may be less convenient than its headline suggests.

Keep excursion spending, specialty meals and other extras in separate rows. The package name is not evidence that those items are included. Your booking confirmation should identify any additional promotion that adds them.

If you have another source of a benefit, such as a cabin inclusion or a loyalty entitlement, check how it interacts with the fare. Do not assume overlapping benefits can be exchanged for cash.

## [When cruise-only can be the better fit](#when-cruise-only-can-be-the-better-fit)

Cruise-only is worth pricing when you want a modest amount of connectivity, limited paid beverages or more control over optional purchases. It is also useful as a baseline even if you eventually choose the bundle.

The strongest reason to buy All Included is that its actual inclusions suit the way you intend to travel at a price you accept. Saving time on separate purchases can have value too, but it should be a deliberate convenience purchase rather than a misunderstanding of what “all” covers.
